• Talent and Variety Hour
Featured Speaker
Jim Achilles was born in Las Vegas where his father was a professional musician in the casinos. The family moved to Los Angeles when Jim was five.
He was placed in a private Christian school, even though his parents didn't know the Lord at the time. They figured a little Bible wouldn't hurt -- as long as he got a
decent education. He accepted Christ as a child; and after graduation from college with a music degree, he felt the call to ministry and enrolled in the Master's Seminary.
In1995, Jim and his wife Deanna moved to Hollister to plant Grace Bible Church. In addition to his service at Grace, Jim is an adjunct professor at the Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo. He also speaks and leads worship at various conferences and retreats throughout the year.
The focus of Jim's work at Grace is ministry is the Word. "Preaching is my calling and I'm compelled to dedicate myself to this task. Leading worship and participating in the music is an enjoyable and exciting addition to preaching."
Jim and Deanna have three children: Crystal, Cathryn, and Robby.
Special Monday Night Concert
