Pushing Against the Gates . . .
On a recent Sunday, I was doing a teaching at New Cov/Fresno where Jän Van Oosten is the Lead Pastor. In the worship service, I was witness to his passion for the youth of our culture, and his region particularly.
I saw a focus that caused his people to rise and cheer his leadership in a crusade to preserve the faith of our youth who are being indoctrinated against Christianity.

Three Teams Served in Haiti
Praise God for the three teams from NCBC churches that ministered in Haiti in February! These teams began construction of a large pastoral training center, which will be part of the multi-purpose campus of Melchizedek Christian School and First Baptist Church in Maissade.
Lead Pastor Yoyo has led this ministry for over 20 years, has deployed 22 pastors to churches that have been planted during that time. The center will offer training for these leaders, as well as future candidates as God calls them into service.
We are anticipating another short-term trip in August. Contact the NCBC office at 209.830.6222 if you are interested in joining this team. The project will be painting and finish work on the buildings constructed in October 2007.
Echoes from Maissade, Haiti
